Artist's Description

You’re on a need-to-know basis.

It’s a great challenge to picture God.

The moment we try to picture Him is the moment we can’t, and if we think we have done it, we are naturally going to come up way short. Let’s face it. We are just limited human beings, and it is impossible to have a total picture of our boundless God.

In the Bible, the greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind. It would be a lot easier if we had a good picture of this object of our love? Well, in the same book Jesus said, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.” (John 14:9b) So, in order to get a good picture of God, the Father, we just need to read about Jesus. The tough part is trying to put that picture on a canvas for all to see, but when we ask Jesus into our lives, it can be done because we become the canvas. You’re on a need-to-know basis.
